NYC to Host 9/11 Suspects Trial

I guess you can't fix stupid! First Healthcare, now this!

Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the five 9/11 suspects will be put on trial trial in New York City; just blocks from the 9/11 site. This includes the mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed who has been held with four others at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Why here?

These are some of the most dangerous people in the world and our Government will bring them to New York instead of trying them in a Military Court at Gitmo. This is a stupidly thought out plan. I certainly not surprised though, especially with the Healthcare Reform plan.

These men are not Americans. They don't deserve all the protections our courts give real Americans in the US. They are our enemy! Not US Citizens. It took eight years to come to this decision. I certainly hope it doesn't take that long for other decisions, such as more troops.

This is wrong! Our Government is wrong! They certainly can't blame Former President Bush for this. Republicans are against it and Democrats are supporting it. What we need is to vote the Democrats out. But we won't! All suspects have reportedly pled guilty, so why bother? Why create a media circus when we don't need too? Why take the chance that the court will release them? And why put New York City in jeopardy of another terrorist attack when you don't need it again.

Gitmo is fine where it is! Leave it alone.
